the culture canvas

One hour to get intentional about how your team works.

Most team cultures don't get designed. They happen - shaped by whoever's loudest, by old habits, by what was never quite addressed. The Culture Canvas is a focused one-hour session that changes that.

WHAT IT IS

Culture doesn't wait for you to design it.

If you haven't sat down and deliberately shaped your culture, something else has done it for you. The values on the wall might not match the behaviours in the room. The way people give feedback, make decisions, handle tension — those patterns formed somewhere. The question is whether they're the patterns you'd choose.

The Culture Canvas gives your team the space to look at this honestly, name what's working and what isn't, and agree on what you actually want — then commit to specific behaviours that make it real.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

Clarity. Shared language. And something to actually do.

A Team Culture Canvas

Your blueprint for the culture you're building — documented, shared, and ready to use after the session.

Shared language

Clarity on what your team values, and how those values are supposed to show up in day-to-day behaviour.

Personal commitments

Specific actions each person will take. Named. Agreed to. Not left as good intentions.

Immediate shifts

The conversation itself tends to change things. You'll often see it in the room before the hour is up.

HOW IT WORKS

Facilitated, focused, and designed for your team.

The Culture Canvas runs as a single one-hour facilitated session — in person or online. Before the session, we spend 20 minutes on a discovery call to understand what's going on with your team and what you want the session to do. That shapes the conversation.

In the session, Tamara guides your team through identifying what's working, naming what isn't, and committing to the specific behaviours that will close the gap. No lecture, no slide deck, no generic team-building exercise. The conversation does the work.

You leave with a completed Culture Canvas — a living document your team can return to, hold each other to, and build on over time.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

  • Your team's culture has formed by default, and you want to make it deliberate.

  • Values exist on paper but don't quite show up in practice.

  • You need a productive, structured team conversation — not another meeting that goes in circles.

  • Something has shifted: new people, a restructure, a rough patch that left things a bit unsettled.

  • You want a starting point for a wider culture or leadership programme.
